Delete your account

You can delete your PetrolSpot account at any time.

In the app

1. Open the Profile tab and tap Privacy & data.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Optionally tell us why you’re leaving, then tap Delete account and Delete to confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you’re signed out.

By email

No longer have the app? Email hello@petrolspot.co.nz from the address you signed in with, and ask us to delete your account. We’ll confirm once it’s done, within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in account, including your email address and any Google or Apple link.
• Your display name, points, trust title and streak.
• Your favourites, price alert settings, notifications and push tokens.

What stays

Prices you reported or confirmed stay as part of each station’s price history, so other drivers can still rely on them. They show as “Former spotter” and are no longer linked to you.

Leaving the waitlist

Joining the waitlist is separate from having an account. To remove your email from the waitlist, email hello@petrolspot.co.nz and we’ll remove it.
